Help strengthen Kansas City’s music community.

The Midwest Music Foundation is seeking passionate, engaged board members who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local musicians.

This is a working board, meaning members actively participate in fundraising, advocacy, strategic planning, and committee work.

We’re especially looking for people with experience in

  • Grant writing
  • Social work
  • Fundraising
  • Government or private health insurance

Don’t have those skills? That’s okay. If you’re willing to roll up your sleeves and help, we’d still love to hear from you.

Board Expectations

  • Attend online/in person meetings
  • Participate on committees/projects
  • Help with fundraising
  • Support MMF events by volunteering or donating
